Why Afrika Sika?
Follow the money, whatever border it crosses.
Afrika Sika is the pan-African counterpart of Kanyaka — La Quinzaine. Where Kanyaka follows public money in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afrika Sika applies the same method and the same standard of sourcing to illicit financial flows across the continent. Kanyaka — La Quinzaine and Afrika Sika apply the UNIS method.
Each issue takes up a major investigation, goes further, sets it against the experience of other African countries and draws recommendations for authorities, regulators and civil society.
