KANYAKA-RUSHWA
The citizens’ memory of the fight against corruption
KANYAKA-RUSHWA is the UNIS monitoring bulletin devoted to tracking corruption cases and related conduct.
It began from a single observation: many corruption cases attract intense attention when they first come to light, only to fade gradually from public debate — sometimes without responsibility ever being established.
KANYAKA-RUSHWA sets out to counter that forgetting. The bulletin regularly documents reported cases, follows how they develop, makes recommendations, and offers citizens, journalists, researchers, civil-society organisations and institutions a lasting record of corruption cases.
A note on language
The bulletins are published in French
KANYAKA-RUSHWA is written for the Congolese public and is issued in French only. The pages below summarise each edition in English; the PDFs themselves are the original French documents. If you need an English summary of a specific case, write to our team.
