Number plates in the DRC

Why Kanyaka?

The news is the starting point, not the story.

Every two weeks, Kanyaka takes a public contract, a decision or a flow of public money in the DRC and traces it piece by piece: what the documents establish, what has only been stated or announced, and what cannot be found. Every case it opens is then followed in the Kanyaka Tracker until it is resolved.

An accusation is never presented as an established fact, and every party named is approached for comment before publication.

Kanyaka — La Quinzaine and Afrika Sika apply the UNIS method.
